It’s that time again! LASC and the Cuba Support Group Ireland are teaming up to hold the 16th annual Che Guevara Pub Quiz on Thursday 1 Nov at 7pm in the Harcourt Hotel, Harcourt St. Dublin 2.

This year promises to be fun. There are lots of great prizes to win, both in the quiz and the raffle. We are also holding an auction of pure alpaca wool cape and beret (with a retail value of €200).  This beautiful cape would make an ideal Christmas present, or maybe the ideal present to yourself!

Between rounds we will also be showing extracts from “Memories of Che”, a video portrayal of his eldest daughter, Aleida Guevara, filmed recently in Ireland. So if you missed her, this is your chance to catch up with the intimate family memories of the great man she calls “pepe”.

First question at 7.30pm. The entry fee is €40 for a team of four. Individuals are welcome and teams will be set up.

Remember, the quiz questions aren’t just about Che Guevara, and will be about everything from Art & Literature to Food & Drink.  Our equal- opportunity quizmasters aim to have something to catch everyone out, so history buffs may need to read up on their celebs!
